Continued improvement of intraoperative image-guided technology and its integration into cataract surgery can improve patient outcomes and increase surgical efficiencies, according to a speaker.
“Image-guided technology, whether it is through integrated cataract suites like the Callisto (Carl Zeiss Meditec), Verion (Alcon) and TrueVision (Alcon), can be used for alignment, and aberrometry (ORA, Alcon) can be used for IOL selection and alignment.
