Research initiative to focus on new glaucoma treatments

Santen, Massachusetts Eye and Ear and Ulster University have formed a research initiative to investigate and develop novel therapies for the treatment of glaucoma, according to a press release.
The initiative aims to prevent vision impairment or loss by “slowing, reversing or preventing” damage to the optic nerve, the release said.
