Alcon introduces virtual reality cataract surgery simulator

A new simulator will put cataract surgeons-in-training in a virtual operating room and connect them with remote instructors, according to a press release.
The Alcon Fidelis virtual reality ophthalmic surgical simulator was designed to increase access to surgical training in the eye care field, providing realistic training and real-time feedback to help trainees improve their techniques.
