Socioeconomic factors play role in neovascular glaucoma outcomes

NEW YORK — Patients from an urban population who presented with advanced neovascular glaucoma had poor outcomes, according to a study.
In a poster presented at the American Society of Retina Specialists annual meeting, Jose Angel Quiroz, MD, PhD, and colleagues conducted a retrospective case series of patients who presented with neovascular glaucoma between 2012 and 2020 at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.
