Brent Saunders has been appointed as CEO and chair of the board of directors at Bausch + Lomb, effective March 6, according to a company press release.
Joseph C. Papa will step down as CEO and director, and Thomas W. Ross Sr. will become the lead independent director of the board.
On Feb. 16, Saunders will rejoin Bausch + Lomb in an advisory capacity alongside Papa to facilitate an orderly transition, according to the release.
