Man presents for refractive surgery consultation

A 36-year-old Hispanic man presented to the refractive surgery clinic at the New England Eye Center for surgical consultation. He was motivated to be free of contact lenses and glasses.
Ocular history was significant for 10 years of soft contact lens wear for 3 hours per day, 2 days per week, on average. He denied any history of eye trauma or eye surgery.
