H. Dunbar Hoskins Jr., decorated glaucoma specialist, dies

H. Dunbar Hoskins Jr., MD, a former executive vice president of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, died on Jan. 27. He was 84 years old.
In addition to his work with the AAO, Hoskins was founding director and director emeritus of the Glaucoma Research Foundation and a founding director of the American Glaucoma Society, according to an obituary published in The Ark.
A graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, Hoskins completed his glaucoma specialty training at the University of California, San Francisco, where he went on to become a (Read more...)
