BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Eric D. Donnenfeld, MD, discusses his presentation on Lacrifill for the treatment of dry eye disease.
Donnenfeld said Lacrifill (Nordic Pharma Eye Care) is easy to insert, has good reimbursement and is comfortable for patients.
“What’s great about this product is that it occludes the punctum better than typical punctal occluders,” he said. “In the study that we’re presenting, we had actually a full millimeter higher Schirmer test when we used this.”
