VIDEO: Femtosecond laser trabeculotomy shows durability in study

BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Richard A. Lewis, MD, chief medical officer of ViaLase, provides an update on femtosecond laser image-guided high-precision trabeculotomy for the treatment of glaucoma.
Lewis said the procedure, known as FLigHT, combines gonioscopic imaging and OCT imaging to accurately reflect the treatment area. A study he presented at the meeting examined FLigHT over 3 years.
