“Allergic conjunctivitis is one of the most common ocular conditions worldwide, particularly in children and adolescents — the same population at risk for keratoconus,” study author Zvi Gur, MD, an ophthalmologist at Hadassah Medical Organization, Israel, told Healio. “In clinical practice, we repeatedly see patients with chronic allergy symptoms and significant eye rubbing. This raised a fundamental question: Is
