Carrot Announces Agreement to Acquire GreenMan InSightVR, Expanding Eye Care’s Leading VR Diagnostics Platform Into Vision Simulation

BROOKLYN, New York--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Carrot (formerly Virtual Field), the most widely used VR testing and diagnostic platform in eye care, today announced an agreement to acquire GreenMan Vision, Inc., the company behind InSightVR. The deal will add intraocular lens (IOL) simulation for cataract surgery to the Carrot Platform and expand Carrot from vision diagnostics into vision simulation. “For more than 40 years, patients have dreaded the visual field test,” said Jeremy Barlow, CEO of Carrot.
