Children wearing Essilor Stellest 2.0 lenses for 6 months had reductions in myopia progression comparable to changes in children who wore the original version of the glasses for a year, according to a press release from EssilorLuxottica.
“The treatment response appears to be effectively twice as fast,” Yang Xiao, principal investigator and professor at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center at Sun Yat-sen University in China, said in the release. “These findings add important clinical evidence from China to the global body of research on HALT Max technology.”
