What advanced IOLs can be offered to patients with visual compromise?

Welcome to another edition of CEDARS/ASPENS Debates. CEDARS/ASPENS is a society of cornea, cataract and refractive surgery specialists, here to discuss some of the latest hot topics in ophthalmology.
At the time of cataract surgery, patients with coexisting ocular pathologies or visual disorders often ask what lenses we can offer to have spectacle-free vision. Difficult eyes may not be suited for advanced-technology IOLs (ATIOLs), but with many options now available, we can be more confident that some of these patients can have their wish fulfilled.
