STAAR reports $18.8 million in net sales in third quarter
STAAR Surgical reported $18.8 million in net sales in the third quarter compared to $18.2 million reported in the same quarter in 2014, the company announced in a press release. The overall 3% sales increase was attributed to higher ICL unit sales in each region – 37% in Europe, Middle East and Africa, 13% in Asia Pacific and 10% in North America – offset by a 24% decrease in worldwide IOL revenue and foreign currency changes, according to the release.
