Eydie Miller-Ellis, MD, named president of JCAHPO

The Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology has named Eydie Miller-Ellis, MD, as the organization’s 24th president, according to a press release.“I am honored to serve as JCAHPO’s president for the next 2 years and look forward to leading the organization into a future that draws on, substantiates and continues JCAHPO’s history as a visionary in the field of allied ophthalmic health certification and education,” Miller-Ellis said in the release. “I am privileged to serve as the chief volunteer and strive to advance the standards set by my prestigious predecessors.”
