Pupil size, axial length portend near vision outcome after monofocal IOL implantation

Small pupil size and short axial length were the only factors that helped predict good near vision outcomes after phacoemulsification and monofocal IOL implantation, according to a study.The retrospective study included 84 eyes of 84 patients who underwent cataract surgery with monofocal IOL implantation. Mean patient age was 65.7 years. Mean postoperative follow-up was 2.38 months.
