The integrity of foveal outer retinal structures and baseline visual acuity strongly predicted final visual acuity in patients with subfoveal scarring after treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration, according to a study.The retrospective study included 79 eyes of 64 patients who developed subfoveal scarring after wet AMD treatment.
