Ultrasound biomicroscopy demonstrates reliability of glued IOL technique
Glued transscleral-fixated posterior chamber IOLs did not cause significant IOL optic tilt affecting postoperative vision, according to a study.The case series included 46 eyes of 42 patients examined with ultrasound biomicroscopy to evaluate inadequate capsule support of glued transscleral-fixated PC-IOLs. Mean postoperative follow-up was 24.6 months.
