Aqueous flare increases in cystoid macular edema patients post cataract surgery

Increased aqueous flare values were found in patients with cystoid macular edema after cataract surgery, according to a study.The prospective, non-randomized, clinical study included 30 eyes of 30 consecutive patients with clinically significant cystoid macular edema (CME) and vision loss. The patients with CME were compared with a control group comprised of 46 pseudophakic and 45 phakic eyes without CME.
