Toric IOL implantation safely corrected astigmatism while improving visual performance and decreasing wavefront error, according to a study.Thirty eyes of 30 cataract patients who qualified as candidates for phacoemulsification and implantation of the AcrySof toric IOL (Alcon) were included in the prospective study.
