IRIS Registry provides meaningful data to ophthalmic practices
CHICAGO — More than 5,000 U.S. ophthalmologists are now participating in the IRIS Registry, comprising data from 10 million patient visits, according to a press release issued by the American Academy of Ophthalmology at its annual meeting here.Launched less than 1 year ago, the IRIS (Intelligent Research in Sight) Registry is a centralized data repository and reporting tool for the aggregation of patient data from electronic health records for statistical analysis.
