Novartis reports 3% decrease in Alcon net sales in first quarter
Novartis reported Alcon net sales of $2.56 billion in the first quarter of 2015, a 3% decrease from $2.64 billion in the first quarter of 2014, according to a press release.The Surgical franchise was driven by sales of the Centurion phacoemulsification cataract platform and disposables and continued growth of U.S. LenSx femtosecond cataract procedures, the release said.
