CMS considers delay in MACRA implementation, AMA approves
The AMA has announced its approval after CMS acting administrator Andrew Slavitt testified before the Senate Finance Committee that the agency was considering "steps to address concerns about physicians' readiness for implementation of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization ACT (MACRA)."Slavitt's suggestions echo recommendations from a letter the AMA sent to CMS in June, according to a press release.
