The American Medical Association Current Procedural Terminology Editorial Panel approved two new Category III CPT codes for programming the Argus II retinal prosthesis system, Second Sight Medical Products announced in a press release.In addition, CMS finalized its 2017 Medicare hospital outpatient payment rate of $150,000.50, which includes the cost of the Argus II.
