Stellaris Elite receives 510(k) clearance
The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance to the Stellaris Elite phacoemulsification platform, according to a Bausch + Lomb press release.Stellaris Elite is the first vision enhancement system available with Adaptive Fluidics, combining aspiration control with predictive infusion management, the release said. It also allows surgeons to customize their machines and features the Attune energy management system, which allows it to “deliver efficient, low energy controlled emulsification.”
