Novartis reported a net income of $2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2017 compared with a net income of $936 million in 2016’s fourth quarter, according to a press release.
Net sales increased 5% to $12.9 billion, and operating income increased 42% to $2.1 billion.
For the full year, net income was up 15% to $7.7 billion, net sales were up 1% to $49.1 billion, and operating income was up 4% to $8.6 billion.
