CHICAGO — In this Healio Video Perspective, David Brown, MD, discusses data he presented at the Retina Society 2022 meeting from the PHOTON trial investigating 8 mg aflibercept for the treatment of diabetic macular edema.
“We are hoping that this agent comes to the clinic,” Brown said. “There are a lot of diabetic patients that need a higher dose, and they also have a hard time making all of the injections they need to maintain their edema. This might be a big advance for both patients and their providers.”
