Health Canada has approved the Trab360 trabeculotomy system, according to a Sight Sciences press release.The fully integrated, single-handed, single-use device allows for 360° angle access to Schlemm’s canal with a single, sub-2-mm clear corneal incision, the release said.

The FDA has approved Alcon’s AcrySof IQ ReSTOR +3.0 D multifocal toric IOL, according to a company press release.The lens is designed for the treatment of both presbyopia and corneal astigmatism in adult patients at the time of cataract surgery, the release said. It is already available in the European Union, Australia, Canada, and multiple countries throughout Central and South America and Asia.
